Job Description
A Fund Asset Manager responsible for optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets across various technologies and regions, working closely with asset and fund management teams to drive strategic priorities, manage risks, and maintain key external partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive asset performance across renewable energy technologies and geographies
- Collaborate with asset management and fund management teams to understand strategic priorities
- Manage issues, mitigate risks, and optimize performance of renewable energy assets
- Leverage external partners and maintain key supplier relationships
Requirements
- Experience in managing or overseeing renewable energy assets, with a focus on asset performance optimization, issue management, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to build a strong understanding of strategic priorities related to renewable energy assets and use that knowledge to direct priorities accordingly.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with both asset management and fund management teams.
- Experience in leveraging external partners and maintaining key supplier relationships in the context of renewable energy asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly execution-focused role, managing multiple priorities related to renewable energy assets.
- Ability to operate effectively in a role based in London with the flexibility to work remotely as needed.
- Experience in managing or working with a portfolio of renewable energy assets, including wind farms, solar power plants, or energy storage projects.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and the operational considerations associated with them.
- Experience in performance monitoring and optimization of large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders involved in renewable energy asset management.
