A Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer responsible for installing and demonstrating smart meters in customers' homes, providing energy-saving advice, and ensuring excellent customer service as part of the Octopus Energy Services team.

Install dual fuel smart meters in customer homes
Demonstrate how meters and in-home displays work to customers
Explain energy-saving benefits and answer customer questions about green energy
Ensure safety and customer service excellence during installations
Support the continuous improvement of installation processes and procedures
Requirements
Experience as a smart meter engineer with a proven track record of safety and customer excellence.
Ability to represent the company's brands professionally in customers' homes.
Comfortable communicating with customers, including explaining how meters and in-home displays work, how they can help save energy, and answering questions about green energy initiatives.
Willingness to perform meter installations and demonstrate equipment to customers.
Ability to work as part of a team supported by an office team sharing performance goals.
Willingness to adapt to evolving processes and technologies to improve service delivery.
Availability to complete the process within approximately 4 weeks, with flexibility as needed.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Honest and empathetic attitude, demonstrating genuine decency in interactions.
Ability to work safely and adhere to safety protocols during installations and customer interactions.
