Job Description
A creative, human-centered Designer responsible for developing user-friendly and impactful digital experiences that simplify complex energy solutions, working collaboratively in a fast-paced, autonomous environment focused on customer-centric innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create human-centered designs for web experiences, campaigns, and events from concept to launch.
- Apply Human Centred Design principles to make complex information simple and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and refine design solutions.
- Wireframe and communicate design ideas effectively to developers and stakeholders.
- Focus on delivering impactful outcomes and value through design efforts.
Requirements
- Understanding of UX, tone of voice, persuasion, and reassurance, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and create user-centered designs that work for humans.
- Experience in design for the real world, including working on campaigns, web experiences, or events from initial idea to launch and beyond.
- Knowledge of tools and theories of Human Centred Design, with a focus on outcomes rather than process.
- Ability to wireframe just enough to communicate with developers, and find workarounds when resources are limited.
- Enthusiasm for design, with the ability to lead and motivate others to follow your lead and get stuff done.
- Experience exploring all elements of design, including campaigns, web experiences, or events.
- Experience working on projects from an idea in a sketchbook to launch and beyond.
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a team environment, including spending time in an office vibe and working with others on collaborative projects.
- Experience in making the complex simple and creating effective solutions that deliver value.
- Ability to prioritize effectiveness and efficiency over traditional business processes such as working to backlogs or writing business cases.
- A background that could include agency or startup experience, with a main trade in design.
- Physical and mental ability to work in an office environment and collaborate with team members.
