A Data Engineer responsible for developing and automating a data platform to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workflows across the business, with a focus on driving sustainable change and decarbonization in the electric vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a data platform to support internal data services and analytics.
Automate data workflows, including ETL jobs and future machine learning training and prediction processes.
Leverage technology to automate reporting and data processes to enable self-service for users.
Solve complex data problems across various domains such as customer operations and financial modeling.
Requirements
Experience as a data engineer with a demonstrated passion for using technology to grow the business and contribute to decarbonising the UK's fleet.
Ability to develop and maintain data workflows, including automation of processes and reporting.
Experience working with data platforms that support self-service data analytics for internal users.
Proficiency in designing, building, and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs.
Knowledge of machine learning training and prediction workflows (familiarity with ML pipelines is implied).
Strong understanding of data automation and reporting technologies.
Experience working across various customer domains, including customer operations and financial modelling.
Ability to work in a fast-growing, newly established data team environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex data questions.
