Job Description
A Data Analytics Engineer responsible for developing and automating data workflows and analytics platforms to support business growth and sustainability efforts in the electric vehicle leasing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a data platform to support internal data analytics and automate data workflows.
- Create and optimize ETL jobs to process data efficiently.
- Leverage technology to automate reporting and data processes.
- Analyze data to solve complex business problems across customer operations and financial modeling.
- Support self-service data access for internal users to facilitate data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Experience as a data analyst with a passion for using technology to grow the business and contribute to decarbonising the UK's fleet.
- Ability to develop and maintain data workflows, including simple ETL jobs and future machine learning training and prediction processes.
- Experience working with a data platform that provides data services across various business areas, including customer operations and financial modelling.
- Strong understanding of data automation and reporting technologies to enable self-service analytics for internal users.
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, newly established data team and contribute to building a core data platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex data questions across the customer domain.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on data-related projects.
- Commitment to working towards sustainability goals and supporting the company's mission to drive sustainable change and decarbonise the planet.
