Job Description
A Data Analyst role supporting renewable energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) activities by analyzing market trends, financial and operational data of renewable projects, and providing insights to optimize portfolio performance, risk management, and contract structuring within a dynamic and innovative energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify power market trends and analyze market, project, and portfolio data.
- Conduct financial and operational analysis of renewable projects.
- Assess portfolio performance, risk, and diversification.
- Collaborate with commercial, trading, and risk teams to generate decision-ready insights.
- Support PPA structuring, valuation, and portfolio optimization through data analysis.
- Develop reports, models, and dashboards to translate stakeholder challenges into scalable data products.
Requirements
- Support PPA activities by delivering high-quality market, project, and portfolio analysis related to renewable energy projects.
- Identify power market trends through analysis.
- Run financial and operational analysis of renewable projects contracted by the company.
- Assess portfolio-level performance, risk, and diversification of renewable energy assets.
- Work closely with commercial, trading, and risk teams to turn data into clear decision-ready insights.
- Support PPA structuring, valuation, and ongoing portfolio optimisation through data analysis.
- Translate stakeholder challenges into pragmatic analysis and scalable data products, reports, models, and dashboards.
- Possess a strong understanding of energy markets, renewable energy projects, and related financial and operational metrics.
- Have experience in analyzing market, project, and portfolio data within the energy sector.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with large datasets and turn them into actionable insights.
- Have excellent listening skills and the ability to understand stakeholder challenges.
- Take ownership of analysis tasks and deliver results independently.
