The Business Development Manager role involves driving sales and building relationships within the electric vehicle charging and fleet solutions sector, supporting customers in transitioning to sustainable EV fleets, and contributing to the growth of Octopus Fleet and Electroverse platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric vehicle charging and fleet solutions
Advise and support customers throughout their transition to electric vehicle fleets
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers and partners
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure positive customer experiences
Represent Octopus Fleet as the primary point of contact and advocate for the company's solutions
Requirements
Experience as a business hunter or sales professional with a proven track record in acquiring new customers.
Experience in electric vehicle charging, fuel cards, and all types of fleet solutions.
Ability to advise and support customers throughout their journey towards transitioning to a sustainable electric vehicle fleet.
A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and driving sustainability.
Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing amazing customer service.
Willingness to work from the London office and occasionally remotely.
Ability to work within an uncapped commission structure as part of the overall package.
