Job Description
An Associate Product Manager at Octopus Energy supports the development of scalable, resilient energy products and platforms, focusing on accelerating the green energy transition in Japan through innovative, customer-centric solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of scalable, resilient energy products for the Japan market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and data to shape product offerings.
- Assist in building and launching new energy solutions such as heat pumps, solar, EVs, and smart tariffs.
Requirements
- Support the Japan team as an Associate Product Manager in building scalable, highly resilient platforms from the ground up.
- Support the development and management of the next generation of energy products, including making it effortless to switch to heat pumps, solar, EVs, launching smart tariffs, and creating renewable generation at scale.
- Work in a lean and fast-moving team environment in Japan, contributing to projects that have a real impact on business and society.
- Support the adoption of products and experiences that customers love, following the UK model and learnings.
- Operate within an open, agile culture that fosters innovation, flexibility, and creativity.
- Demonstrate the ability to get stuff done while being authentic and true to oneself.
- Possess a strong sense of customer obsession and the ability to solve complex challenges in energy with speed and creativity.
