Job Description
Develop and maintain high-quality visualization platforms to support autonomous driving technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance development workflows, validation, and external applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality visualization platforms for autonomous driving technology
- Build performant visualization frameworks using C, OpenGL, and Unity
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers to improve visualization tools for development workflows
- Work with ML Labeling teams to create bespoke labeling tools for training data
- Design and implement polished visualizations for external applications that represent Nuro
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience in C programming language.
- Deep technical expertise with the ability to work through performance problems in low-level code and utilize advanced language features.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
- Experience in building performant visualization frameworks in both C OpenGL and Unity.
- Ability to develop high-quality visualization platforms that support autonomy development, validation, triage tools, and in-car visualization.
- Experience collaborating with ML Labeling teams to gather high-quality training data with bespoke labeling tools.
- Ability to interface with product managers and designers to build polished visualizations for external applications.
- Willingness to mentor and provide feedback to colleagues to improve team products, people, and processes.
