Job Description
The role involves managing and leading a team of Mission Operations Coordinators to ensure efficient fleet operations, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Mission Operations Coordinators, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate daily fleet operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring execution of tasks according to plans.
- Monitor and analyze plan versus actual performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Act as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting hardware, software, and emergency situations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive workflow and process improvements through continuous analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead project management efforts to optimize Mission Operations workflows and automate processes.
- Coordinate shift activities, document operations, and ensure adherence to procedures and checklists.
- Communicate effectively with operators, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
- Perform deep data analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- 3 years of resource planning, allocation, optimization, reporting, etc., ideally in fleet management, autonomous driving, and or robot operations logistics or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership qualities and a desire to help manage a team
- Ownership mentality with natural aptitude for proactive problem solving
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize, communicate, and act upon constantly evolving information
- Ability to implement a schedule from plan to execution
- Ability to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to drive operational insights for various teams to leverage
- Comfortable with Google Sheets, Data Studio, Looker, etc.
- Ability to independently solve problems and resolve issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to change course and assist wherever needed
- Technologically savvy and comfortable with computing terminologies
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain flexible while adapting to the changing needs of the business
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
- BA or BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Compensation/salary range between $80,180 and $108,240 depending on experience and qualifications
