Job Description

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator at Nexamp supports the management and administration of solar project construction, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables, mentoring team members, and collaborating across departments to facilitate project development from start to finish in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely completion of administrative deliverables across the project lifecycle
  • Manage project pipeline milestones, including EPC contracting, construction start dates, milestone notices, and project setup in Procore
  • Train, mentor, and guide Construction Project Coordinators on contract processes and project management tools
  • Assign, delegate, and quality-check coordinator tasks related to contract issuance, project setup, milestone completion, and project closeout
  • Collaborate with Legal, leadership, and vendors to review contracts, validate onboarding, and ensure compliance
  • Identify operational risks, resolve system or process roadblocks, and support process improvements and company initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Construction Coordinator or relevant construction experience supporting construction projects across their lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with construction project management tools such as Procore, LCPtracker, and NetSuite.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of administrative deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with repetition, maintaining consistency and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational or process roadblocks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond the organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to improve current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty.
  • Ability and eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge to inform business decisions.
