Job Description
The role involves providing high-impact executive coaching and leadership development for Nexamp's senior leaders to enhance decision-making, emotional regulation, and organizational culture in a fast-paced clean energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-impact coaching to VP leaders focusing on decision-making, emotional regulation, and leadership behaviors.
- Facilitate alignment sessions to strengthen trust and decision-making at the executive level.
- Integrate behavioral assessment insights into leadership strategies to anticipate stress and improve performance.
- Lead debriefs and recalibration sessions after high-stakes events to sustain leadership momentum.
- Collaborate with the People Team to align leadership development with business priorities.
- Oversee leadership assessments and deliver coaching to address challenges and unlock potential.
- Design and deliver coaching sessions that operationalize company culture and high-performance frameworks.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of executive coaching experience with VP leaders in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Proven success in performance acceleration and leadership interventions.
- Deep knowledge of psychology and its application to leadership success.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Performance Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Predictive Index or other behavioral assessment tools.
- Experience working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
- Ability to deliver one (1) high-impact coaching session twice a month to VP leaders, focusing on decision-making under pressure, emotional regulation, and role-modeling leadership behaviors that inspire trust and drive action.
- Ability to facilitate monthly First Team alignment sessions to strengthen trust, break down silos, and ensure unified decision-making at the top.
- Ability to integrate Predictive Index or similar insights into leader playbooks, anticipating stress scenarios and equipping leaders with proactive strategies.
- Ability to lead post-event debriefs and quarterly recalibration sessions to capture lessons learned and sustain momentum toward leadership culture goals.
- Ability to collaborate closely with the People Team to ensure leadership development directly fuels Nexamp’s business priorities.
- Ability to oversee targeted leadership assessments and deliver interventional coaching to unlock potential, address critical challenges, and propel teams to extraordinary results.
- Skill in designing and delivering individual and group coaching sessions that operationalize Nexamp’s culture, growth mindset, and high-performance leadership frameworks.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Experience in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty.
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and apply that knowledge to inform business decisions.
