Job Description
The Systems Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting control system devices for solar trackers, ensuring their reliable operation and ongoing improvements within a remote-first company environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end control system devices for solar trackers
- Integrate control devices into the overall system architecture
- Improve, manufacture, and provide technical support for existing control devices
Requirements
- Experience in end-to-end development of control system devices, including design, integration, and ongoing development and improvements.
- Ability to develop and support control system devices and software products that enable reliable operation of solar trackers.
- Willingness to work at least 50 of the time at the Nevados headquarters in Oakland, California.
- Willingness to travel at least 10-20 of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events as needed.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Possession of relevant technical skills related to electrical engineering, control systems, or similar fields (implied by the role, though specific skills are not explicitly listed).
