Job Description
The Project Engineer will lead the detailed design and optimization of solar projects, acting as the primary contact for customers during engineering design, and managing the transition from development to construction by coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed design and optimization of solar projects
- Serve as the primary contact for customers during engineering design
- Manage the transition of PV projects from development to construction
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver engineering packages
- Review project layouts and generate bill of materials
- Prepare construction drawings
- Develop cost-effective engineering solutions
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Engineer leading the detailed design and optimization phase of solar projects.
- Ability to be the primary point of contact for customers during engineering design.
- Experience managing the transition of PV projects from development to construction.
- Proficiency in reviewing project layouts, generating bill of materials, preparing construction drawings, and developing cost-effective solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events.
