The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead Nevados' financial strategy, oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth in the solar tracker industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the company's financial strategy and organization.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes.
Manage investor relations and communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure financial alignment and cost optimization.
Guide financial decision-making related to product manufacturing and project delivery.
Requirements
Experience and strategic leadership skills to lead the company's financial organization and guide the company through its next phase of growth in the solar tracker industry.
Ability to shape company-wide financial strategy, strengthen operational discipline, and provide clear leadership across budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and investor relations.
Experience in a highly cross-functional and hands-on role focused on scaling a renewable energy company.
Partner closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, field deployment, and commercial teams to ensure financial alignment across product manufacturing, project delivery, and long-term cost optimization.
Experience in solar, construction EPC, hardware manufacturing, or other capex-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events as needed.
Candidates should be able to be in the Oakland office as needed, with a preference for candidates in the SF Bay Area.
