Job Description
The Senior Vice President of Sales, Canada, will lead the growth and strategic sales efforts of Metergy Solutions in Canada, building and maintaining relationships with clients, driving revenue, and leading a national sales team to expand market presence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategy to drive revenue growth in Canada
- Build and maintain strong relationships with rental and condo developers, property owners, and managers
- Lead and manage a national sales organization to achieve growth targets
- Support and close sales deals through strategic and hands-on involvement
- Deepen existing client relationships to increase revenue and profitability
- Accelerate new client acquisition and rental development sales
Requirements
- Experience in leading sales organizations and developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth across a country or large region.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with rental and condo developers, property owners, and property managers.
- Experience in serving as both a strategic leader and a hands-on leader by opening doors, supporting pitches, closing deals, and building and maintaining a high-performance sales team.
- Demonstrated success in expanding revenue and profitability by deepening relationships with existing clients and accelerating new client acquisition.
- Experience in executing sales plans for rental development sales or similar markets.
- Ability to serve as a strategic and hands-on leader in a national sales organization.
- Experience in the submetering, utility management, or related infrastructure sectors is preferred (implied by the context, but not explicitly required).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience in the Canadian market or familiarity with the Canadian real estate and property management landscape is preferred (implied by the role, but not explicitly required).
