Job Description
The Senior Project Manager, Engineering at Metergy Solutions leads technical initiatives, establishes design standards, evaluates metering technologies, and supports cross-functional integration to enhance the company's submetering and energy management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to support centralized technical services across business units and locations
- Establish design standards and best practices for metering and energy systems
- Lead cross-functional integration initiatives related to metering technologies
- Evaluate current and emerging metering technologies to inform strategic decisions
- Mentor junior team members in technical and project management skills
- Perform energy analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency
Requirements
- The candidate must have deep technical expertise and leadership skills to support a centralized technical services function across multiple business units and office locations.
- The candidate must have experience in establishing design standards and best practices for engineering projects.
- The candidate must have experience leading cross-functional integration initiatives within engineering or technical teams.
- The candidate must have the ability to evaluate current and emerging metering technologies relevant to the company's operations.
- The candidate must have experience mentoring junior team members in an engineering or technical environment.
- The candidate must have experience performing energy analyses to support engineering and operational decision-making.
- The candidate must be able to report to and work under the supervision of the Vice President of Engineering.
- The candidate must be located in or willing to work in New York or Philadelphia, as the role is based in these locations.
