The Manager of EPA Reporting Compliance is responsible for overseeing regulatory and EPA reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with federal laws, supporting partners in impact measurement, and managing internal processes to enhance reporting efficiency within a climate-focused nonprofit investment firm.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage EPA reporting related to the GGRF and other external/internal reporting needs
Support CGC's partners in complying with EPA reporting requirements and deadlines
Compile and validate impact and compliance data to demonstrate achievement of KPIs
Monitor regulatory compliance of CGC partners, including industry standards and EPA terms
Collaborate with Legal and external advisors to ensure adherence to federal laws and regulations
Organize and deliver training programs on reporting compliance to partners
Implement and improve standard operating procedures for reporting and compliance processes
Support audit processes to evaluate reporting and compliance effectiveness
Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and EPA compliance risks
Assist in investigations into compliance issues and support corrective actions
Provide guidance on impact measurement for CGC partners and internal teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or other equivalent experience.
An advanced degree is a plus, although not required.
Five (5) years of professional experience with financing investments, investment operations and reporting, compliance or audit.
Two (2) years of management experience is desired.
Strong computer and analytical skills, especially related to data management and Excel.
Experience with Salesforce, portfolio management, or loan servicing software or similar data management systems.
Knowledge of financial regulations including DBRA Davis-Bacon Related Acts, BABA Build America Buy America, or EPA General Terms and Conditions is a plus.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work with management and a variety of other parties, at all levels, internally and externally.
Excellent organizational skills and experience in organizing and prioritizing project sets based on substance, urgency, and capacity.
Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, as well as strong decision-making skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Authorization to work in the United States of America.
Willingness to travel occasionally to support programs.
