Job Description
The Manager of Taxation is responsible for overseeing all Canadian and US tax filings, provisions, and compliance, as well as developing and implementing tax strategies, requiring advanced knowledge of cross-border tax laws and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Canadian and US tax filings and provisions
- Oversee all tax-related accounting and compliance matters
- Research, develop, and implement tax initiatives impacting the organization
- Guide teams and manage cross-border taxation issues
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of both Canadian and US tax laws
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and managing cross-border taxation issues
- Experience managing all Canadian and US tax filings and provisions
- Experience handling all tax-related accounting and compliance matters
- Responsibilities for researching, developing, and implementing tax initiatives impacting the organization
