Job Description

The Manager, Sales Enablement Canada is a strategic leader responsible for improving and modernizing the sales enablement functions in the Canadian market, managing operational efficiency, data analytics, and technology initiatives to support Metergy's growth and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the effectiveness, scalability, and modernization of the sales enablement function in Canada
  • Manage and develop three direct reports
  • Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining agreements and renewals for accuracy and compliance
  • Deliver data analytics to inform strategic decisions and board reporting
  • Drive technology and process improvements to modernize systems and workflows
  • Shape long-term sales strategy, evaluate product profitability, and support growth initiatives in Canada

Requirements

  • The candidate must have experience in managing a sales enablement function, with a focus on driving effectiveness, scalability, and modernization within the Canadian market.
  • The candidate must have experience managing a team with at least three direct reports.
  • The candidate must have experience enhancing operational efficiency across key areas such as streamlining agreements and renewals for accuracy and compliance.
  • The candidate must have experience delivering data analytics to inform strategic decisions and board reporting.
  • The candidate must have experience driving technology and process improvements to modernize systems and workflows.
  • The candidate must possess strategic foresight and operational agility, with the ability to execute quick wins while shaping long-term transformation.
  • The candidate must have the ability to evaluate product profitability and contribute to evolving the sales approach.
  • The candidate must have a proven track record of executing quick wins and implementing long-term strategic initiatives in a sales enablement or related role.
  • The candidate must be able to balance strategic planning with operational execution to support accelerated growth.
  • The candidate must have experience working in or with the energy, utility, or submetering industry (implied by the context of the role and company focus).
