Job Description

A Cloud Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing Metergy Solutions' Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing on resource provisioning, performance management, and infrastructure as code to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services
Provision and configure cloud resources using infrastructure as code
Monitor and ensure the performance and security of Azure cloud services
Drive innovation and efficiency in cloud operations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically focusing on managing and optimizing Azure cloud services.
Experience with resource provisioning and infrastructure as code (IaC) in cloud environments.
Ability to oversee and manage all aspects of Azure cloud service performance.
Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based data analytics platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge of cloud infrastructure management, including deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements in Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
Relevant professional certifications in Azure or cloud engineering (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) are preferred.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
Physical ability to perform the job duties, if applicable, as specified by the employer.
