Job Description
The Financial Analyst at Metergy Solutions will support the finance team by handling various accounting functions such as financial reporting, transactions, reconciliations, and process improvements, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial reporting and accounting transactions
- Conduct reconciliations and maintain documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements in accounting functions
- Collaborate regularly with finance, operations, and audit teams
Requirements
- The candidate must be responsible for various accounting functions including financial reporting, accounting transactions, reconciliations, documentation, and process improvement.
- The candidate must have experience interacting regularly with individuals in finance, operations, external and internal audit.
- The candidate must be willing to join the Metergy finance team in Markham, Ontario.
- The candidate must demonstrate versatility in the finance role, providing foundation, guidance, and exposure towards a challenging and dynamic career.
- The candidate must have the ability to perform financial reporting, accounting transactions, reconciliations, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to the role.
- The candidate must be committed to process improvement within the accounting functions.
- The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with finance, operations, and audit teams.
- The candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
