Job Description
The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for managing and developing the company's BI Revenue Assurance Program, operations dashboards, reporting, and ensuring gross margin integrity to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and execute the Business Intelligence Revenue Assurance Program
- Oversee the implementation of Annual Rate Increases
- Create and maintain operations dashboards and reports
- Ensure overall Gross Margin (GM) integrity
Requirements
- Experience in managing, developing, and executing Business Intelligence (BI) Revenue Assurance Programs, Annual Rate Increases, operations dashboards, reporting, and overall Gross Margin (GM) Integrity.
- Proven ability to manage and develop BI tools and systems relevant to revenue assurance, rate adjustments, and operational reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in working with data related to utility consumption, billing, and financial metrics within a business intelligence context.
- Strong understanding of business processes related to revenue management, rate setting, and margin analysis.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and generate accurate, actionable reports and dashboards for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Experience working in or with utility or energy-related industries is preferred, especially in submetering, billing, or energy consumption data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex data insights clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years, with a focus on business intelligence, revenue assurance, or financial reporting.
- Knowledge of SaaS business models, especially Submetering as a Service (SaaS), is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to work at a computer for extended periods, if applicable.
