Job Description
A Senior Full-Stack Engineer will develop and maintain Loft Orbital's central web platform, Oort, to streamline and manage space mission data, workflows, and operations, supporting the company's mission to provide efficient and scalable space mission services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Oort web platform to consolidate infrastructure data and tools.
- Design and implement features to streamline and manage the entire mission lifecycle.
- Integrate diverse mission phases, operational teams, and business processes through the platform.
Requirements
- Experience as a Full Stack Engineer with the ability to develop both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining a centralized web platform that consolidates infrastructure data and tools.
- Ability to streamline, integrate, and manage the entire mission lifecycle within a web platform environment.
- Experience in bridging the gap between diverse mission phases, operational teams, and business processes by centralizing essential information and workflows.
- Strong understanding of space mission execution standards and the ability to develop solutions that support large-scale space operations.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks used for full-stack development (specific technologies not specified but implied).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to scale solutions as the mission fleet grows.
- Ability to work effectively across international teams and offices in San Francisco, CA, Golden, CO, and Toulouse, France.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to prepare and review technical documentation in English.
