Job Description
The Senior Environmental Test Engineer is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of environmental verification and testing of satellites, including planning, execution, and infrastructure management, to ensure reliable and high-quality satellite launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of environmental verification and testing for satellites.
- Plan and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing processes.
- Ensure infrastructure readiness for environmental testing campaigns.
- Oversee maintenance of testing equipment and facilities.
- Execute vibration, Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), thermal, and EMC EMI testing campaigns.
Requirements
- Experience in owning the full lifecycle of environmental verification and test processes, including early program feasibility, planning, SOP creation, infrastructure readiness, maintenance oversight, and hands-on execution of Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, and EMC EMI campaigns.
- Proven track record of reliably testing satellites on schedule and to high standards required for satellite launch.
- Highly experienced Senior Environmental Test Engineer with significant expertise in environmental testing of satellite systems.
