Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and optimize production processes for space hardware, ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability while collaborating with various departments to facilitate seamless manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop processes and tools to minimize variability in manufacturing and optimize production.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to ensure alignment of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Facilitate seamless execution of manufacturing processes on the production floor.
- Support scaling of production to meet company growth and mission demands.
Requirements
- Experience in building processes and tools to minimize variability across builds and optimize production processes.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple functions such as Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to ensure alignment of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Experience facilitating seamless execution on the production floor.
- Proven ability to contribute to scaling production effectively in a manufacturing environment.
