Job Description
The Security Compliance Team Lead will oversee and enhance the company's cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance with US and EU government standards, while providing technical leadership and managing a team dedicated to security excellence across the organization's products and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the security compliance team to improve cybersecurity posture.
- Ensure compliance with US and EU government security standards.
- Maintain and elevate the company's cybersecurity practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in security initiatives.
- Manage projects related to security compliance and improvements.
- Foster a culture of security excellence across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Experience leading and scaling a security compliance team responsible for maintaining and elevating cyber security posture.
- Ability to ensure compliance with US and EU government standards related to cybersecurity.
- Strong technical leadership skills with at least 75% of the role focused on hands-on technical leadership.
- Proven experience in functional and project management related to security compliance, with at least 25% of the role dedicated to these areas.
- Experience fostering a culture of security excellence across an engineering organization.
- Ability to lead a team responsible for maintaining and improving cybersecurity standards and compliance.
- Proficiency in navigating and implementing US and EU government cybersecurity standards and regulations.
