A Material Planner is responsible for supporting the planning and scheduling of spacecraft assembly and integration activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned to meet production goals for satellite missions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule production activities for spacecraft assembly and integration
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources meet production goals
Manage procurement and inventory of materials required for spacecraft manufacturing
Monitor production progress and adjust plans to ensure timely completion
Ensure materials availability aligns with project timelines and specifications
Requirements
Support the planning and scheduling of production activities for spacecraft assembly and integration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned to meet production goals.
Have existing authorization to work in the U.S. at the time of application, as the role does not provide visa sponsorship.
Be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi in the future if the role transitions into a full-time position, although relocation is not required for the temporary role.
Possess strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within an international team.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
