Job Description
A Material Planner is responsible for supporting the planning and scheduling of spacecraft assembly and integration activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned to meet production goals for satellite missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production activities for spacecraft assembly and integration
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources meet production goals
- Manage procurement and inventory of materials required for spacecraft manufacturing
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to ensure timely completion
- Ensure materials availability aligns with project timelines and specifications
Requirements
- Support the planning and scheduling of production activities for spacecraft assembly and integration.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned to meet production goals.
- Have existing authorization to work in the U.S. at the time of application, as the role does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi in the future if the role transitions into a full-time position, although relocation is not required for the temporary role.
- Possess strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within an international team.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
