Job Description
The Embedded Test Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining a reliable test pipeline for embedded software and hardware, verifying performance, and ensuring flight readiness of avionics systems for space missions at Loft Orbital.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a reliable test pipeline for embedded software within the Hardware group
- Verify the performance of internal avionics hardware, firmware, and software
- Define processes and standards for version control
- Collaborate with engineering, software, and integration teams to ensure flight readiness of hardware products
Requirements
- Experience in establishing and maintaining a robust, reliable test pipeline for embedded software within a hardware group.
- Ability to work with engineering, software, and integration teams to verify the performance of internal avionics hardware, firmware, and software.
- Experience in defining processes and standards for version control.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams to ensure flight readiness for orbit.
- Demonstrated experience in verifying hardware, firmware, and software performance to improve design iteration and support continuous integration efforts.
