Job Description
A Backend Engineer role focused on developing systems to automate hardware and software integration testing, mission operations, and supporting the scaling of space infrastructure and satellite missions for Loft Space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop systems to automate and streamline hardware and software integration testing
- Support mission operations for satellites
- Ensure satellites are prepared and ready for launch
- Contribute to scaling the platform to support increasing space infrastructure
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development, with the ability to develop systems that automate and streamline hardware and software integration testing, mission operations, and satellite readiness.
- Ability to develop and maintain systems critical to scaling a platform and making space more accessible for customers.
- Experience working with space infrastructure, satellites, or related aerospace systems is implied as necessary for building the foundation of space infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of backend engineering principles and practices relevant to mission-critical systems in space technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a software team to build reliable and scalable backend systems for space missions.
- Proficiency in English, as the candidate's resume will be reviewed by international offices, and the application should be submitted in English.
