Job Description
The Account Executive at LevelTen Energy is responsible for recruiting and closing enterprise deals with clean energy developers, building long-term relationships, and promoting the company's data solutions within the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deepen relationships with key clean energy developers and develop account strategies aligned with customer goals.
- Lead full sales cycles from prospecting to closing platform subscription sales to achieve annual ARR targets.
- Represent LevelTen Energy at industry events, network with professionals, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
- Become an expert in assigned customer accounts and advocate for their needs within the company.
- Manage a clean, accurate sales pipeline through CRM updates and forecasting.
- Support communications strategies including PR, social media, events, and thought leadership content.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of enterprise selling experience of energy-related products to Independent Power Producers (IPPs), utilities, and/or other energy sellers.
- Three (3) years of full sales cycle experience using established sales methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Solutions Selling.
- Three (3) years of experience in renewable energy origination, corporate energy procurement, power trading, and/or energy risk management.
- Experience selling web-based software as a service (SaaS).
- Experience selling to Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-Suite executives.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, both in person and via Zoom.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive account strategies aligned with customer goals.
- Ability to lead full sales cycles from prospect to close of platform subscription sales.
- Ability to develop and maintain a clean and accurate pipeline through consistent updates and accurate forecasts in the company's CRM system.
- Ability to support communications strategies including PR, social media, events, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, white papers, and conferences.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires a full-time commitment, with the ability to work in the company's Seattle office or remotely (preferably based in the Seattle area).
- The candidate must be able to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment.
