Job Description
The IAM Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing Aurora's modern identity ecosystem, including platform configuration, integration, compliance, and migration tasks, to support secure and scalable access management in a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure IAM platforms, including Ping Directory and Conductor One, across development and production environments.
- Integrate HRIS systems like Workday with the IAM platform to automate Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Build, validate, and deploy production-ready connectors for core ecosystem integrations such as Okta, AWS, Google, Slack, and Squad.
- Deploy workflows and automated reporting to support compliance requirements like SOX and ISO privileged access reviews.
- Migrate workforce and service identities to Ping Directory to ensure identity isolation.
- Develop technical test plans, procedural documentation, and runbooks to ensure operational readiness of IAM systems.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on implementing IAM solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of at least one major Cloud Identity Provider such as AWS IAM, Azure, or similar, and core protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and LDAP.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and access models such as RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to develop code in either Python or Go.
- Experience with integrating Identity Providers such as Okta, Auth0, or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Conductor One, SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar IGA/PAM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Ping Directory or similar LDAP solutions, including monitoring for performance and fine-tuning CPU, Memory, and Storage.
- Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and security concepts.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm, and CI/CD platforms such as ArgoCD.
- Experience protecting APIs using OAuth scopes and claims, and troubleshooting complex integration and performance issues across the IAM stack.

Base salary range of $162,000 - $235,000 per year
