Job Description
The Public Relations Account Executive at LaunchSquad is responsible for developing and executing storytelling strategies for clients in the technology, lifestyle, and media sectors, building media relationships, and producing high-quality content across multiple accounts in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing storytelling opportunities for clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
- Create and pitch well-researched, structured bylines and concise pitches
- Develop and write thought leadership content for executives
- Learn and develop subject matter expertise on complex topics and new technologies
- Balance priorities and objectives across multiple accounts and teams
- Guide and share knowledge with new team members to ensure high-quality results
Requirements
- Experience developing subject matter expertise for complex topics and quickly learning about new technology products and services.
- Ability to develop well-researched, structured bylines and thoughtful, concise pitches.
- Proven ability to actively build new relationships with key media contacts.
- Experience in finding new proactive media opportunities for clients.
- Ability to develop and write key pieces of thought leadership content for executives.
- Capacity to balance competing priorities and objectives across four teams.
- Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high-quality results in public relations work.
