Job Description
A Senior Project Analyst in Renewable Energy Development Finance responsible for managing client engagements, supporting project financing transactions, and contributing to the development and improvement of renewable energy project processes within a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support multiple client engagements related to renewable energy project development and financing
- Streamline project financing transactions by developing and maintaining project management tools
- Coordinate internal and external teams, including clients, lenders, investors, attorneys, and advisors
- Provide expertise in project diligence, risk management, and stakeholder engagement for financing processes
- Contribute to the design and development of new products and tools for renewable energy project developers and investors
- Participate in internal initiatives to improve operations and processes
- Learn and master renewable energy development, diligence, execution, investment, and finance processes
- Take on increasing project and client responsibilities to lead within the development services group
- Standardize project development processes to improve industry quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in renewable energy project finance and development with some experience directly participating in capital markets transactions.
- Knowledge of the financing due diligence process.
- Strong quantitative skills and financial modeling literacy.
- Working knowledge of financing structures and processes such as tax equity, transferability, and debt financing.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to solving problems.
- Must be a team player willing to step out of comfort zone and remain adaptable.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, project management, economics, or related fields (preferred but not required).
