Job Description
The Program Director will lead and manage the development of battery energy storage projects, providing technical and commercial expertise, expanding service offerings, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive growth in renewable energy projects within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements to develop battery energy storage projects across major US markets, focusing on TX and CA
- Expand and scale Euclid's BESS service offerings in collaboration with the Development team
- Analyze technical, commercial, and market risks of BESS projects at all development stages
- Manage external stakeholders to ensure successful project development outcomes
- Coach and mentor Project Managers and Analysts in BESS development best practices
- Collaborate with the Product team to shape technical product design and functionality
- Support company-wide functions such as engagement tracking, P&L management, and resource planning
- Standardize best practices in solar and storage project development to drive project growth
Requirements
- Ten years of proven project development experience within the renewable energy industry.
- Experience in managing project sale and financing transactions is a plus.
- Experience in developing and executing market strategies for successful utility-scale energy storage projects.
- Complete knowledge of the renewables project lifecycle and crucial value drivers in project financial models.
- Mastery of the key technical and commercial provisions of revenue, interconnection, site control, EPC, and membership interest asset purchase agreements.
- Experience managing competitive procurement processes for key long-lead components of energy storage projects.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or finance preferred but not required, with required professional experience.
