Job Description
The role involves leading integrated media relations, executive communications, and digital storytelling for climate and energy companies, guiding teams, managing key campaigns and announcements, and translating complex topics into compelling narratives across various media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated media relations, executive communications, and digital storytelling programs for climate and energy clients.
- Counsel clients and guide teams on major announcements, narrative pivots, creative campaigns, and key business milestones.
- Translate complex information into clear, compelling stories across media, executive platforms, and social channels.
- Develop and manage narrative-driven communications programs for multiple client accounts.
- Mentor and coach team members, uphold high-quality work standards, and support talent development.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in public relations, communications, or related fields with a focus on technology and climate energy sectors.
- Proven success in producing full-funnel communications programs including media relations, executive communications, and digital storytelling.
- Experience leading four to five client accounts, partnering with senior leaders and clients to build and run narrative-driven communications programs.
- Ability to translate complex technical and climate energy topics into clear, compelling stories suitable for media, executive platforms, and social channels.
- Strong foundation in technology communications and climate energy industries.
- Demonstrated ability to counsel clients, guide teams, and lead major announcements, narrative pivots, creative campaigns, and key business milestones.
- Experience in developing talent, coaching teams, and upholding high-quality work standards.
