Job Description
The Account Executive at LaunchSquad is responsible for executing integrated media relations, executive communications, and digital storytelling programs for innovative brands, while developing media relationships, creating thought leadership content, and supporting digital strategies to build brand awareness and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute integrated media relations, executive communications, and digital storytelling programs for clients
- Develop new and existing storytelling opportunities for multiple accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and identify proactive media opportunities
- Research and develop subject matter expertise on complex topics and new technology products
- Write well-structured bylines, pitches, and thought leadership content for executives
- Support digital strategies, including social media and influencer marketing campaigns to amplify brand narratives
- Drive work independently while balancing priorities across client teams
- Share knowledge and guide new team members in day-to-day activities
Requirements
- Experience developing subject matter expertise for complex topics and quickly diving into learning about new technology products and services.
- Ability to develop well-researched, structured bylines and thoughtful, concise pitches.
- Experience building new relationships with key media contacts and finding new proactive media opportunities for clients.
- Experience developing and writing key pieces of thought leadership content for executives.
- Proficiency in core PR communications work and independently driving work forward.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and objectives across all client teams.
- Understanding of the digital landscape, including social media strategies and influencer marketing campaigns, to amplify brand narratives.
