Job Description
A Nuclear Controls Engineer responsible for developing control requirements, guiding instrumentation and operator interface design, and ensuring safe and reliable control performance for pilot reactor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of control requirements for pilot reactor systems
- Guide instrumentation and operator interface design
- Ensure safe, reliable, and responsive control performance
- Define control system requirements and evaluate technical alternatives
- Coordinate across technical disciplines to integrate control systems
Requirements
- Experience in leading the development of control requirements for reactor systems
- Ability to guide instrumentation and operator interface design to ensure safe, reliable, and responsive control performance
- Deep understanding of reactor dynamics
- Practical controls engineering expertise
- Capability to define control system requirements
- Experience in evaluating technical alternatives for control systems
- Ability to coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
