Job Description
The Head of Security at Last Energy Inc. is responsible for overseeing physical security, cybersecurity, and material controls to ensure the safety and security of the company's offices, projects, and operations, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of security and safeguards across offices, projects, and operations
- Manage physical security, cybersecurity, and material controls and accounting
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Collaborate with security personnel, IT department, and external contractors
Requirements
- Experience in overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of security and safeguards work across multiple domains including physical security, cybersecurity, and material controls and accounting.
- Ability to ensure that security standards are maintained at the highest levels across all offices, projects, and operations.
- Experience working closely with on-site security and safeguards officers, the IT department, and external security contractors.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, indicating the need for strong communication and leadership skills at an executive level.
