Job Description
The Transformation Director leads initiatives to leverage technology for energy system innovation, focusing on optimizing renewable energy, creating smarter grids, and enhancing utility customer experiences to support a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee technology transformation initiatives within the energy management platform.
- Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize renewable energy generation and create a smarter energy grid.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Align technology strategies with the company's goals to support energy transition and decarbonization efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy, technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading transformation projects.
- Extensive experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives within the energy or technology sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams across multiple markets globally.
- Deep understanding of energy management systems, including Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic roadmaps for energy platform or technology product development.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, disruptive technology environment with a focus on innovation and transformation.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical and strategic concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, global setting.
- Experience working with international energy clients and understanding of global energy markets.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
