Job Description
The Technical Program Lead is responsible for managing the technical aspects of client migration projects within the energy sector, leading transformation initiatives, and building strong technical relationships with clients to support sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical aspects of a major client program, including leading the migration and managing the technical relationship.
- Manage a program of change for clients licensing the Kraken platform as part of broader business transformation.
- Lead the technical pillar of energy industry migrations and support industry-leading business transformation efforts.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with client benefits and efficiency.
- Adapt to dynamic roles, potentially evolving into broader technical program responsibilities or technology account management.
Requirements
- Experience owning the technical part of a major client program with an international energy retailer, including leading the technical pillar of migration and managing the technical relationship.
- Ability to manage a program of change for a client who has chosen to license the Kraken platform as part of a broader business transformation objective.
- Willingness to take on evolving roles such as Technical Program responsibility with other clients or ongoing Technology Account Management across several geographical regions.
- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment where the role may take different shapes throughout the week.
- Well-rounded individual who is comfortable with ambiguity, self-starter, and willing to roll up sleeves to solve problems.
- Commitment to delivering technology based on simplicity, client benefit, and efficiency, while guiding senior stakeholders through a journey of change.
- Willingness to challenge beliefs, see through multiple viewpoints, and support the client beyond the immediate remit if needed.
- Ability to regularly travel to clients, with the expectation of spending up to 3-4 days on client site every fortnight.
- Based in the Pacific North West region or willing to relocate or travel to this region as needed.
