Job Description
A Software Engineer specializing in Python and Django to develop and maintain energy management systems, contributing to innovative solutions for a sustainable and intelligent energy grid within a collaborative and technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Python, Django, Django-REST-framework, and GraphQL Graphene.
- Implement features and optimize energy systems within the company's platform.
- Participate in continuous deployment processes utilizing AWS, CircleCI, and related tools.
- Monitor and measure application performance using Sentry and Cloudwatch.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including UX, design, and mobile engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in server-side development.
- Experience working with Django framework for web development.
- Experience working with Django-REST-framework for building RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with GraphQL, specifically GraphQL Graphene.
- Ability to work within a continuous deployment pipeline using AWS services.
- Knowledge of Django, ELB health checks, and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience working in a collaborative engineering environment following a Kanban-like approach.
- Ability to specify and manage work using tools such as Google Docs, Asana, Github, and CircleCI.
- Experience with performance measurement and monitoring using Sentry and Cloudwatch.
- Experience working in a team of multi-discipline engineers including server-side, client-side, and mobile engineers.
- Ability to contribute to open-source coding conventions and practices.
