Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing the Kraken platform to support energy, water, and broadband utility industries, focusing on innovative solutions for customer experience, data management, and AI-driven systems within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and re-architect the Kraken software platform to solve industry-wide problems in energy, water, and broadband sectors.
  • Implement AI-driven solutions to optimize resource management and enhance customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and innovative energy management systems.
  • Contribute to the development of features related to customer information systems, billing, meter data management, and CRM.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in the UK and in our London office on a hybrid remote policy of 1-2 days a week onsite
  • Experience in software engineering with a focus on developing and architecting complex software platforms
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and re-architecting software solutions over the last 3 years
  • Strong skills in energy management, utility industry solutions, or related sectors such as water and broadband (e.g., customer experience water leak detection, customer information systems, billing, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications)
  • Ability to contribute to the development of a platform supporting large-scale customer accounts (supporting at least 55 million customer accounts globally, with a goal to support 100 million by 2027)
  • Experience working on AI-driven platforms or systems that optimize resources and improve customer experiences
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a global team
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK
