Job Description
A Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for leading technical pre-sales engagements, analyzing customer data, building tailored demos, and demonstrating measurable value to clients in regulated industries, while working closely with sales and stakeholders to drive process improvements and adoption of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical pre-sales engagements, including discovery, demos, and Proof-of-Value projects
- Analyze customer data using SQL and Python to build insights and support value quantification
- Translate industry challenges into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Build business cases and value narratives aligned with compliance and operational goals
- Facilitate value workshops with business, IT, and data teams to identify opportunities
- Define improvement initiatives and support change programs to achieve measurable outcomes
- Present findings and realized value to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including adoption, expansion, and renewal
- Develop strategic roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core process intelligence platform
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer use cases
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or analytics consulting
- Strong hands-on capability with SQL and working knowledge of Python
- Experience analysing enterprise data and translating insights into business outcomes
- Comfort working in live customer environments, building demos, and responding to technical questions
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP or similar ERP environments
- Experience with implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows
- Experience working in Public Sector, Healthcare, Defence, or other highly regulated environments
- Understanding of governance, compliance, data security, and risk considerations in regulated industries
- Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders in complex organisations
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to structure problems and lead workshops
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder expectations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including C-level audiences
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
- Eligibility for UK Security Check SC clearance; existing clearance is a strong advantage
