Job Description
A Senior Privacy Analyst responsible for enhancing and managing the company's privacy framework, navigating complex global privacy regulations, and supporting the organization's expansion into new territories within a fast-paced, innovative energy technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Bolster and maintain the company's privacy framework to support a fast-moving, agile organization.
- Navigate complex global privacy landscapes to ensure compliance as the company expands into new territories.
- Support the development and implementation of privacy policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing privacy risks and ensuring adherence to relevant privacy laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience as a Privacy Analyst or in a similar privacy-related role with a focus on privacy frameworks and compliance.
- Ability to bolster and adapt the privacy framework to accommodate a fast-moving agile organization.
- Experience navigating complex privacy landscapes globally, including expansion into new territories.
- Knowledge of international privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Strong understanding of privacy principles, data protection, and data management practices.
- Experience working with privacy policies, data handling procedures, and privacy impact assessments.
- Ability to help develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate privacy requirements effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Law, Information Security, Data Privacy, or related discipline.
- Experience working in a technology or energy-focused organization is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills to assess privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Experience with privacy compliance tools and privacy management software is preferred.
