Job Description
A Senior Privacy Analyst responsible for strengthening the company's privacy framework, navigating complex global privacy regulations, and supporting the organization's expansion into new territories within the energy technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Bolster and maintain the company's privacy framework to support an agile organization.
- Navigate complex global privacy regulations and landscapes as the company expands internationally.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
Requirements
- Experience as a Privacy Analyst or in a similar privacy-related role, with the ability to bolster and adapt privacy frameworks within a fast-moving agile organization.
- Ability to navigate complex privacy landscapes globally as the organization expands into new territories.
- Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
- Experience helping organizations comply with privacy policies and data protection laws across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of privacy frameworks, principles, and best practices relevant to a technology and energy-focused company.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex privacy issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with privacy impact assessments and data mapping activities.
- Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.
