Job Description
A Senior Frontend Engineer responsible for developing and enhancing a web-based business process management platform within KrakenFlow, focusing on creating user-friendly, efficient workflows and contributing to innovative energy management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end components of the web-based business process management platform.
- Implement user interfaces with a focus on usability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve the platform's features.
- Utilize tools like GitHub, CircleCI, and Terraform to support continuous integration and deployment.
- Monitor and measure application performance using Sentry and CloudWatch.
Requirements
- Proven experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
- Experience working with tools such as Github, CircleCI, and Terraform Enterprise as part of an immutable-infrastructure, continuous delivery pipeline.
- Ability to work in an agile environment using tools like Notion, Asana, and Figma to specify and plan work.
- Experience measuring performance and monitoring production environments using tools such as Sentry and CloudWatch.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge and be challenged by team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver delightful experiences for internal and external customers.
- Willingness to work in our New York City office or remotely within the East Coast region timezone; candidates outside this region will not be considered.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage product development environment with a focus on solving tough problems.
- Commitment to building secure, reliable, and scalable web-based business process management platforms.
- Understanding of and adherence to coding conventions, including open-source standards where applicable.
