Job Description

The Senior Client Partner at Kraken is responsible for leading strategic relationships with major utility and energy clients, ensuring value realization, managing escalations, and driving growth through high-level engagement and collaboration at the executive level in the energy technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic relationships with utility and energy clients at the executive level
  • Engage in day-to-day account management and ensure client satisfaction
  • Ensure clients realize full value from products and services, aligning technology with their needs
  • Manage critical client escalations and coordinate resolution efforts
  • Drive growth by managing commercial relationships and identifying new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Experience serving as a senior strategic partner to C-level stakeholders and working across all levels of complex, dynamic clients.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong, proactive engagement to ensure delivery, satisfaction, and trust with clients.
  • Experience ensuring clients get full value from products and operating models, and connecting technology, cultural transformation, and client needs.
  • Experience managing clients through escalations for critical issues, and partnering closely with Technical Account Managers and Support to drive resolution.
  • Ability to manage commercial relationships and deliver on new business development and revenue targets.
  • Experience identifying and shaping early-stage growth opportunities across a portfolio of clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic relationships with utility and energy clients in the energy sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a senior strategic partner and engage effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work hands-on and dive into details when necessary to support client needs.
  • Experience in the energy or utility industry is preferred (implied by client sector focus).
