Job Description
The Product Marketing Director will lead the marketing strategy and team for Kraken Customer, focusing on redefining customer operations systems for utilities, driving product positioning, go-to-market plans, and market adoption within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Kraken Customer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Generation to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
- Manage, hire, and develop a team of product marketers.
- Bring customer, market, and competitor insights into product positioning and strategy.
- Shape thought leadership and internal/external messaging for Kraken Customer.
- Enable internal teams and advocates to champion the product's value.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the energy sector, including knowledge relevant to utilities and renewable energy solutions.
- Experience in defining and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategy and priorities for a product line, with a focus on driving revenue and product adoption.
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Product Management to achieve business goals.
- Proven experience in shaping thought leadership, positioning, and messaging for a product, with mastery of target personas.
- Experience managing, hiring, and growing a team of product marketers.
- Ability to bring deep customer, market, and competitor insights into product positioning and strategy.
- Experience in defining and executing product marketing strategies that include positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Ability to enable internal teams, advocates, and analysts to champion the product's value.
- Strong strategic thinking and visionary mindset with the ability to roll up sleeves and work hands-on when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to shape and deliver compelling stories and messaging for the product.
- Experience working in a technology company focused on energy or a related industry is preferred.
