Job Description
The role involves developing and executing advocacy campaigns to promote clean energy policies within the industrial sector, building relationships with industry stakeholders and partners, and supporting efforts to decarbonize manufacturing industries, all within a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with industrial, manufacturing, and organizational partners to support clean energy procurement and advocacy.
- Track and identify opportunities for industrial manufacturers to promote policies and projects that advance clean energy development in key states.
- Support efforts to decarbonize and transform the domestic primary aluminum industry through planning and facilitating partner meetings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of campaign strategies that leverage organizational strengths and policy analysis.
- Serve as a thought partner to campaign team members to advance organizational goals.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of increasing responsibility in the field, with a proven campaigning and coalition-building track record.
- Background or familiarity with the US power sector and or with corporate engagement.
- Experience working with and communicating effectively with external partners and managing professional relationship development.
- Experience and comfort working in a virtual work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and master new concepts quickly.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Experience advocating for development of clean power, via Public Utility Commissions or other venues.
- Deep alignment with Industrious Labs' mission, values, and goals.
- Highly collaborative work style and ability to serve as a peer and thought partner.

- Strong communication skills able to break down complex issues into clear strategies and decisions.
