Job Description
The Technical Trainer at Highland Electric Fleets is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive technical training programs to customers, enabling them to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure independently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile training materials from Highland, OEM, and partner sources.
- Deliver structured technical training programs to customers.
- Ensure customer self-sufficiency in maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
- Tailor training delivery to customer-specific configurations and system components.
- Train customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Teach depot-level repair procedures using OEM diagnostic software, Highland tools, and OEM web portals.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering structured, comprehensive technical training programs, with the ability to compile training materials from Highland, OEM, and partner sources.
- Ability to tailor all training delivery to customer-specific configurations based on their balance-of-system components, including buses and chargers.
- Proficiency in performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair operations on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
- Ability to provide customers with the knowledge and skills to independently troubleshoot complex technical challenges and perform depot-level repairs.
- Experience using OEM diagnostic software and tools, Highland’s custom-engineered diagnostic tools, and OEM web portals for troubleshooting and repairs.
